Looks like a sable to me IMO.

I would bet that it is in fact a sable. Not the best example, but you know ;)

I will say that the person I got this from is pretty reputable and also told me up front that it wasn't a knock em dead one.

I thought so but got nervous when someone mentioned privately that I got something other than what I paid for even though I was assured it was a sable.
The only reason I finally broke down and considered a sable was because of this one's "look". :D
