Re: What a delightful little man! (Funny story)
Thanks for all the thoughts and information. I really can't decide which snake I want first. Ball pythons seem relatively calm and chill and the corn that I met was squirelly and active. As far as personality goes I do like the calm ones. A snake that moves quickly would not be my cup of tea.

The feeding of the Ball Pythons does have me leaning towards a corn because they eat anything. The temperature information as well for the Ball Python also makes me lean towards a corn as well. I'm still not sure. I mean I may own both, but as for my first snake I want to make the right decision.

When looking around for snakes what are some general things I should look for? (Health, general appearance, etc) I don't know about purchasing from a pet store. I've heard the good and bad and seem to think I might want to adopt from an expert herper who can tell me more about the snake or a breeder.

What are your experiences purchasing from a pet store vs breeder or owner rehoming their snake?

This is all really good information.

    Thank you.
    Thea
