    Freezing is the recommended method for neonate rodents since they are resistant to hypoxia.

    Thanks everyone. I hate to do it to the little guy, but it's better than starving to death and no worse than getting suffocated by a snake I guess. Thanks again.

    I see. I misunderstood. I didn't know your snake would eat f/t. I thought you wanted to euthanize him because you didn't know what else to do with him. My bad. Sorry I don't have a suggestion for you.

    No problem Imartelli. She has been eating live, but after he brought this fat little mouse home and I thought it was too big for her, I thawed a pink and she took it! :banana: I am so glad. I was really worried about mouse bites as she gets older. Hopefully she will continue to take F/T now.
