Ill get you some pics of our cage and how many litter pans we have, and hammocks and STILL pee outside the litter.

The smell of poop is not that bad, ATM I cannot recall the food that they eat. I shall look!

Thank you all for the tips. As I mentioned earlier, the problem is only when she's actually in her cage. Not roaming around the house. We supervise her very closely when she's on the loose.

We decided to go with the t-shirt idea. We put LOTS on the floor of her cage and she's been sleeping in them so hopefully it'll help!

Another idea is to put a food dish in places that you don't want her to poop. They make corner ones (keep the receipt though because the one I bought didn't fit my cage). I have a two level Ferret Nation cage with two litter boxes and 3 food dishes. Mine use the litter box in their cage 100% of the time....outside the cage its bout 70%. If you just keep putting stuff that she doesn't want to poop on in places that you don't want her to poop then eventually she'll only be able to go in her box. Then after a few months of only going in her box, you can reduce some of the stuff that you don't need. Good luck! They are soooo worth the hassle :D

We actually decided to try the t-shirts as substrate idea and it's worked! No poop anywhere besides the litter box!
