    Cheryl, I totally agree. I was not joking when I agreed with Bruce. I have tubs that are nearly 20 years old that have dried urates that are probably 19.5 years old. Some species have harder urates than others. On really stubborn urates, I use a straight edge screwdriver with a wide blade.
