Re: Uncommon
I think the one in the book was called a rough grass snake, but I have no idea. I also saw a few interesting snakes in the book. Not sure what it would be like to work with them.
Brahminy Blind Snake
Sunbeam Snake
Dumeril Boa
Calabar Ground Boa
Haitian Wood Snake
Common Egg Eater
Bairds Rat Snake
Rough Green Snake
Banded Water Snake
Red Tailed Rat Snake
That is the list I made of snakes in that book that looked interesting to me. I especially like the Brahminy Blind Snake.

Re: Uncommon
Not as uncommon as they were a while back, but....
you want catch me with anything but ball pythons, I am afraid of snakes except for ball pythons. Weird huh

Re: Uncommon
Why? Most snakes are just as non-aggressive as ball pythons. :) Like my corn snake. I hope to expand my collection once I have a house to include many uncommon snakes. I find many of them facinating. (spelling disaster)
I really really want a Brahminy blind snake, but where do you find one of those?

I held and am interested in the not so common Mud Snake I held at the SC Reptile show. That red belly was stunning!
