Re: Bottled Water Leaving Hard Water Stains (?)
I always use bottled water due to the fact that we have very hard water here and have a water softener hooked into the system. I would think that all that salt in the water from the softener would not be good for my snakes. I also did not realize that the water stains from bottled water could be harmful.

This sounds like the best compromise :P

And just for a little extra, I don't drink spring water. It tastes disgusting, just like tap. We use Culligan for our drinking water, but when we moved we didnt have anything so I ran to the store and the only stuff they had was Arrowhead. Bought it anyway, but it tasted nasty. Aquafina is the only bottled water I drink.

the other thing, i don't know if anyone has heard of this....but....from people flushing illegal and legal old prescription drugs down the toilet, that water companies all over the u.s. were finding trace amounts(very small, like .0000003 ppm or ppb) of certain types of drugs that get recycled back into our water system. thank god i run a septic tank! but wish i had a well too!
