Re: Hunger strike, and I'm pretty stumped.
@bigballs my temps are 79-80 on the cool side droping to 77 at night, and on the warm side the temps stay around 90 93 never below that. and humidity is consistant around 50%
my enclosure is...around 18" 12 " 36" long glass aquarium. and the BP is two and a half feet and the last weigh in was 546 grams.
@anendeloflorien Ill try taht prescenting thing in a few days, and keep an eye on it!
The only real reason I've been trying F/T was because I dont want live mice/rats around that he isnt going to eat anytime soon, its much easier to refreeze a F/T rat and keep trying though im sure this isnt that good of an idea and could spoil that feed. Is there a point where those frozen feeders will spoil?
Re: Hunger strike, and I'm pretty stumped.
I wouldn't offer a F/T item more than two times. Its not a good idea to keep on defrosting and refreezing rodents. I would only refreeze and defrost one time after the initial offering.

yes the rule of thumb for f/t is you can offer it to them and if they refuse it you can refreeze it. But you can only refreeze it one time after that throw it away.

Alright thanks, ill try once more, I hate for these things to go to waste though.
After he refused the mouse the last time I descided to return it to the pet store, I could tell it gave the manager there a headache.
