man... im sorry but this is exactly why im a 100 percent advocate of f/t feeding unless live is your last resort... :(

everything is good.no damage to the eye

I had something similar with my large adult female after she laid... her coordination, and I assume muscle control, was off just enough that an ASF was able to get a nip into the eye.

Seems they are more resilient than we thought. I waited a day to do a second exam and she was fine.

Maybe someone with a bit more knowledge on physiology can jump in, but I asssume the outer eye is designed to *resist* such things.
