I'm not trying to say that no one should be held accountable, but it must be taken in to consideration that not everyone has the same cards dealt to them in life. You have to wonder what happened to this person to make what they did seem like a good idea at the time. No one wants to empathize with a killer or child molester, but that;s why there is an amendment barring cruel and unusual punishment.. even if it's not fully recognized/enforced.
i have seen the damage that it causes personally.. seen my fiance afraid to sleep at night, seen her go into full panic attacks over the smallest thing that triggers a memory, seen it rip away childrens innocence, leaving mental scars that take a very long time to heal, if it can at all..it kills me when i hear about this crap.
maybe its messed up my wiring seeing this this kinda stuff first hand, i dont know? what i do know is, i will never shed a tear for monsters that abuse children!
