Re: For both breeders and buyers alike
Aaahh John the infamous LAWREPTILES thread LOL I believe your animals were some pictured by those scammers LOL. I also have to note all this is hypothetical as I don't have a buyer named Adam I was just making a for instance statement I would hate to get The Woz mad at me or any other Adam in our community

Here are the guarentees I posted on my website
Quote:
Live arrival guarantee between 45 to 90 degrees*1.
*1: Live arrival guarantee is VOID if incomplete or erroneous shipping information is provided or/and if no one is present to receive the shipment.
I offer a 7 days health guarantee on all animals. Once received I have no control over the care that the animal(s) will receive from you so therefore, I cannot offer a guarantee longer than 7 days.
DOA's must be reported within 24 hours. Return of DOA animals will be required for credit or replacement.

Re: For both breeders and buyers alike
You can not guarentee the health of the animal once it leaves your care. For example: I sold an animal and within 10 days it died. This was a healthy thriving animal that was eating well. The guy said he found it dead with a half regurged pink. I asked for pictures. He took pics of the animal in its cage. I then asked if those pics were where the animals had actually been kept. He said yes. The animal had been kept right in front of a shelf crammed full of all kinds of cleaners and chemicals. Seeing that, I was surprised the animal lived as long as it did!

Thank you Deb but i will tell you that fedex just drops at my door without a knock and the tracking number is noted with a signature on file which im not sure how they got and leave now how am i to know if the person actually signed for it or just had a signature on file?
Re: For both breeders and buyers alike
I always track the package to see when it is delivered, signed for, etc. If I see that the package was "left on doorstep, signature release on file", I immediately contact the buyer to make sure they are aware that Fed-Ex has left the package. If there is a signature, you can view it. I print it for my records, just incase someone wants to be less than honest.
Hope this helps.

Isn't there a possibility (however unlikely) that you could breed a true 100% het clown to a clown for 3 or more years and still not hit the odds, producing no clowns? How many seasons of not producing a clown until you are ABSOLUTELY SURE the animal isn't het? Can you ever be sure?
What if you are the breeder, and you are totally sure the animal is 100% het? Now you have a customer saying you ripped them off when you know they are just really unlucky by not hitting the odds. What do you do to resolve the issue?

To say what is fair depends on the circumstances surrounding the issue.
I agree and feel the same way. I will use this same method of sales.
Re: For both breeders and buyers alike
As a buyer first I want pictures of the animal, how he or she is feeding, how it will be shipped, the breeders and my scedule matches for shipping dates. I work on the road so I'm not home every night so shipping is a pain in the butt for me since I have to take a couple days off to know I'll be home to get the animal. Another thing I like is a breeder that actually cares about the customer not just think it's another sale. I know for my experience I'll stick with who I've been buying from I'm really happy with the service, the animals health, and packaging is great.
