Hey one question, do you have overhead lights on the cage? If so they could be serving to stress her out also. If you're looking for good hides all my snakes seem to really like the ones that RBI makes. The entrance is offset which seems to help a lot with their sense of security, for a smaller BP a small or maybe a medium one would work great. Just an idea lol.
