Hi,

Well for security you want to try and cover the two sides of the tank.

This is a great oppertunity to put some kind of insulation on the bottom,back and both sides of the tank - that might help keep the cool end temps up without you having to add any extra heat sources.

You could use reflectix, foam board or cork board to give a few of the possible materials.

And if you put aquarium background paper on the outside of the tank before doing so it will look attractive as well. :)

Obviously after doing that you want to double check all your temps again till they stabilise.
