    I control the heat with a heatlamp with a ceramic bulb on my hot side and under-tank heaters, and nothing on my cool.

    My coolside stays around 80 or so, maybe a lil lower. He likes to chill out there at night.

    I use towels to keep the humidity in, and I guess I will have to start spraying more mist in there to keep the humidity higher.

    I was wondering if you have a thermostat controlling the heat from the UTH! When allowed to run full throttle, UTH's can get hot enough to cause thermal burns.
    It almost sounds as though you you aren't quite sure what the temps in your tank are... is this so? If this is true then you really need thermometers in there- and probably more than one given the size of tank you're working with :)

    oh, haha i must have read wrong. I have 2 thermometers in my tank, i can tell the temps in the tank.

    The heaters are not hot, i check them all the time
