Re: What would you get
for breeding purposes I voted for the hets.
However, I LOVE crazy pattern morphs like spiders.. But I've convinced myself to stay away from any morph that has the kind of genetic issues that spiders have. Replace spider with pinstripe and then I might very well change my vote though!

I voted for the 1.1 hets/phets, i think the caramel glows are sexy, cross your fingers & shoot for them :D

Don't take it as fact but most people I know with spiders and I know for myself will say that they are the best eaters they've got. Therefore you'd be looking at possibly less time before she would be up to breeding size and you'd be able to try for bees! Just my opinion lol.
I would agree with the feeding. My male spider will eat anything I put in front of him. And he looks awesome. Has the slight Spider issues, but one of my favorite morphs. There are so many combos to create with him.

Spider I love them and the bee's.

Funny that your choices are both animals that seem to have a little flaw in them. Spiders with the head wobble and Caramels with the kinking issue. I think both are a little over blown, but it does suck when you produce a kinked caramel or a wobbly spider after all your hard work. I think I would still go the Spider route. Bees are great and as long as you get a good line the wobbles are not as common as most think. The other thing is that a pastel to spider you're odds of getting something that is cool is much greater. On average you'll get a pastel, spider and bumble bee out of four eggs, where as the het caramels on average you'll just get one caramel and three possible hets. I'm not down on Caramels, they are one of my favorites, just in this case that would be what I would. Brian(BHB)

Indeed, I think spiders are a better start. The caramels do tend to kink often I have friends who worked very hard to get caramels produced and had no luck. But I do love the caramels!

Hard decision! I love spiders and they make some great combos, but hard to pass on the poss DH caramel glows! I voted for the het pair, but I'd ask if they were related.

Re: What would you get
I would only go for the hets if you know 100% that their genetics are proven. I would hate for someone to buy a pair of "hets" ans never prove them out. If your in for the quick morph than go spider there really are a million combos with those things.
