That is a great idea :gj: and a quick, inexpensive fix, which makes it that much better :D
glad to be of service :D it's a really cool set up.
i just thought of something. you might have to cut the wood around the base of the light so you can take the bulbs out from the top. just make the hole smaller than the plastic case. you will also have to make a lip so the hole you cut for the bulb doesn't just fall through. maybe some brass arms on the very edge of the wood?
