    bleach is a common agent for cleaning water of baterica and other junk.

    so far i have six rates in one rack and I clean every week and I can not smell a thing. But i will still try the vina thing for when the colony gets bigger.

    ive had to add bleach with the phesants and chickens we had when i was younger. thats an old breeders trick.
