    wet towels are not really good to use because of bacteria growth and risk of fire. also no matter how hot the water is, the towel will cool down within minutes of being placed on top of the enclosure so i dont see the point. youre better of covering up the top with something like plastic wrap and cutting out the area needed for the heat lamp if you use one. then get a substrate that hold moisture well and mist when you have to. this has always worked for me when i used tanks.


    just my .02 good luck finding a good enclosure.

    i use a pro products 30watt heat pannel. they are probably the best thing to heat a cage IMO. they do a great job. look around, ive seen used ones for cheap. always use a thermostat with these things.
