One other thing I was thinking of was to write up a little something in java or maybe even html to help members diagnose problems. They could enter husbandry information, symptoms, etc. and the app would suggest some of the main areas they should be looking at. Nothing too specific, just a way to narrow things down a little so when they post a thread for personalized help they'll have a little better idea where to start. Fill in the variables a little bit before hand. Even a standardized form to fill out when asking about health issues so everyone knows right off the bat what the OP is working with and won't have to ask.

I say the more stickies the better. Sure one can use the search function for posts, but I allways get so many that do not apply to the answer I am seeking.

While you can find the answer to those problems in many of the stikies already present on this forum you need to keep in mind that some people would rather get 101 attention.
While we might answer the same questions over and over again (I know I have) we need to keep in mind that for the person asking the question this is the first time they ask and the first time they get an answer to THEIR question.
After all isn’t it what forums are all about?

True. This forum is also filled with nice people IMO, who are willing help regardless if the info is elsewhere or not. Many will even find links and post to further help out a person. :community

well i think it should be that people can ask because not everyone can learn by just reading a care sheet if you have ever read them then you will notice its the same as getting responses. people respond in different ways and that makes it better understood for some. when you have or see multiple caresheets and usually as i read several before getting my first snake they are all different in alot of ways so some care sheets does make it difficult for a new one to the hobby to understand. so regardless of it being a sticky i dont think it would hurt anyone to answer questions for people if you're online and have nothing to do or just reading the new post as i do lol because i myself and i am sure alot of people would rather talk to someone hands on in case i/them have multiple questions instead of reading a care sheet that i do not understand if it has some more expereinced terms in it.
and i'm sure my post made no sense to a few of you because i couldnt find the exact words i was looking for lol.
