    i meant would you rather have a watering system in a rack or water bottles in lab cages.. the main reason i went with racks over lab cages is the water bottles.

    Oh I understand they actually have a type that have special holes in them so you can hook up automatic watering for them.The measurements are 18 by 12 by 6.

    You could easily fit 1 male and multiple females in that size tub. I would start out with 3 females until you get a feel on how much and quickly ASF's actually reproduce! And how many extra tubs you will need to accommodate all of the ASF's while they grow up to feeding size for a couple of months. ;)
