Oh I agree with you. Taking care of a Crested Gecko is a lot easier and less maintenance then most reptiles. I love not having to worry about getting a special uvb bulb, heat mats, veggies I don't even eat, meal worms, crickets, having the electric bill go up even higher, etc. lol It is so nice to purchase a packet of cgd that will last a long time and all I have to do is mix water with it. Plus just a couple of sprays with the mister a couple times a day and my little one is happy as can be. I keep mine on paper towels so that is even easier to clean. Pull old one out put new one in. lol
I was just mentioning that the actual gecko itself can be pretty high priced if you want one of the high end ones. I do find it odd sometimes the price for some of them. I just can't imagine spending over $100 if even that on one. But hey, that's just me. :D

I've seen some geckos going for 300 USD. That is sooo much money. especially if u are not lookin into breeding or anything.
