    This just makes me all tht more agianst devenomizing a snake. For all the snake has to go through just to possibly still be venomous, and how would you know unless you got bit to find out. I doubt peopel are going to check it over a glass like that regualarirly. If you need to own a venomous animal consider anti venom as a norm in your medicine cabinet.

    Personally I think hot snakes should only be owned by professionals and have the proper medical back up just incase.

    I don't think so. They have the entire glands removed. Completly removed. I've been bitten by a venomoid king and I'm still standing here. Oh btw, in case your wondering, I wasn't handling the king, a friend was, and he got careless.

    your snake may have had the procedure done properly, but that doesn't mean everyone else's has it done properly.
