Re: Btw
I just want to step in here and say WELCOME to BP.net! :handshake
Personally, it sounds to me like you have a very lively and lovely household! If I were in the market for a cham, I'd seriously consider your offer...but my hubby is not nearly so accepting of additional pets as yours is. :P I'll even be in Atlanta later this month! BP.net is gonna have a table at the Expo. You going??? If you do, come and say HI!!

Hopefully your not one of those people who thinks our government secretly had something to do with it! =) You can't be from the far left. I guess your one of the good tree-hugging liberals. About selling the kids, I could probably get a lot more money by selling them, but I would go crazy and have to be put in a mental institution if I had to live without even one of them! :salute:
She wasn't trying to judge you. She was just worried about you trading one animal for another, and continuing on doing so. She was not being negative whatsoever. You clearly showed that this is not true, so no need to stick onto it.
In the bolded area, you say you don't want to judge, but you are calling people 'tree-hugging liberals'. I happen to be liberal, and a I happen to love nature. I don't necessarily appreciate the judgment on your part. ;)
Welcome to b-p.net. I love trees. Do you love trees? I love ball pythons, and I know you do too!

Shadera called herself a "tree-hugging-liberal" and the OP merely responded to that. Come on people...we really don't need to micro-analyze and critique every jot and tittle of what someone says.

Ahaha, I know. Trust me, my post was all meant to be kidding. :P

In all fairness, I didn't start the judging and I think its just about impossible for someone to never judge anyone in some kind of way. Sometimes its appropriate to "judge" someone and sometimes its not needed or called for. In addition, I don't necessarily dislike someone just for being a tree-hugging liberal, as long as your a nice one ;)

I see people posting all the time in ads how they need to get rid of some snakes to make room in their racks for new ones. Or people saying they are replacing their normal breeders with pastels since they are so cheap now. I don't see how selling a chameleon to make room for a BP is any different. As long as it goes to a good home and is well taken care of, it's fine IMO.
We should always think long term about our pet buying decisions, but you would be hard pressed to find someone with a big collection who hasn't at least thought about moving some animals out to make room for new ones.

Re: Btw
OK just had to laugh -- in this hobby people are always selling one animal to buy another what makes this persons deal any different than someone that no longer needs their het pied because they got a visual (for example)

Re: Btw
Well said Tosha! I would also like to add that I commend anyone that can admit their heart isn't into a particular pet and find it a good home instead of keeping it and not taking the time with it that it needs.
Luckily, my husband has just recently started saying no to certain new additions I ponder! Evertime cage cleaning comes around I realize he was right! Good luck rehoming your cham!:welcome: :salute:
