I should put the wood in the oven to dry?? :weirdface but it has plastic on it..
im just afraid that when im washing the wood whatever im cleaning it in will soak into the wood :confused:

Wood isn't the greatest material to use in a cage where things need to be sterilized periodically--better to use something plastic that's made to look like wood.
I scrub with dish soap and water, rinse, then soak in chlorhexedine solution, and rinse thoroughly.
You can also get chlorhexedine from Amazon.com for cheap.

Also, wood will have a tendency to mold...which is no good. Maybe stick to the plastics???
