Digestion Question

It just depends on their personalities...some of mine could be TV stars they love attention so much. Two of my albinos, in particular, spend more time hiding than Newt on Aliens 2.

48 hours is definitely sufficient to wait after a meal before handling. Sounds like you're doing everything right.

Don't worry about them eating the butt first, it happens. They probably pick which way to eat depending on what flavor they want to have left in their mouth on the way down...mouse snot or mouse bum! ;)

Okay, thanks a lot. Since he is my first I prefer to ask before I do something that might hurt him. I know that after I've had him for a couple of years I am going to look back at all of these questions and think...boy how silly! But there is no other way to learn in my opinion.

About the butt thing, I think the poor little guy was so hungry that he didn't care which way it went down. :)
