I'm sorry to read about Cheerio, Adam. Unfortunately sometimes we never do know why our furry friends leave us so quickly but take some comfort in the fact that she obviously went very quickly and likely painlessly. While she was in your care she lived a very nice and productive life. That's a pretty good deal for any rat. :)
