I offer food to all. Some snakes eat during shedding and some don't. The snakes that eat during shedding have good sheds as well as the snakes that don't eat.
My adult Females that eat during shedding are my largest Females.

Alright, so I gave it a go, but the male refused and the mouse was removed. I'll wait until next feeding day to try to feed (Saturdays or Sundays are chow day here). However, since he refused this time, should I try again next time he's shedding, or just avoid the stress?

Some of mine will eat during shed and some won't. Once I know, I feed accordingly and don't usually offer food to the ones that typically don't eat.

I wait until they complete their shed. I then wait a day and then offer food.

Depends on how much in shed they are, if they are on the downhill side, I feed. Sometimes it seems to help jumpstart the shed.....LOL

Depends on their size, Ive noticed hatchlings will eat almost 95% of the time when in shed and yearlings and adults rarely eat. If they are eating small rats I dont offer, if they are still on pups I offer.
