    thanks for all the info. Im glad that he is all comfy in his new home. Its starting to get a bit colder here so im about to move him in to a new cage for the winter so that he stays warm. Hope he stays happy. Yaaaaa...to day is feeding day!!!!

    If you move him into a new cage, you'll probably see the same sort of exploratory behavior for several days again. Be sure to give him another full week or so to settle into the new home before returning to your usual handling and feeding routine. :)

    I was thinking about this post last night. My Ball Python came out of her hide and was moving around a bit. Just as I was thinking how lucky I am to have a BP that I get to see occasionally she went back in her hide.

    One of the things my snake does often is keep the tip of her nose just inside her hide so that if she flicks her tongue it actually passes the threshold of her hide. This is great because I can actually see her head and know she is doing well without disturbing her.

    he is all moved in to his new place.....i expect him to explorer around...I did a lot of shuffling today. I adopted 2 new bps...more like rescued them...i will post pics of them in a bit...the are beautiful but i think i may have an issue on my hands....I have them quarantined right now but have concerns about their eyes......i will post in a few with pics
