i see no reason for anyone to call you any sort of names lol it happens to the best of us at some point in time. take for instence although mine hasnt gotten burnt that i know of yet i had one to get out 2 weeks ago and i still havent found him. ive searched high and low and even went as far as buying a rigid see snake so that i could look inside my walls and under my bathtub and stuff since it has a lcd screen and a camera at the end of the wand lol but still no luck yet. i have a bowl of water, heating pad and i leave a rat out once a week at the last area he was seen(under hot water heater) hoping he will come back to me =(

well i look everyday and every night for him but no luck yet. but i will say this i think all snake keepers should own a see snake they are very reliable and usefull for pets or household needs lol. best 260.00 i spent on anything even though my only purpose to getting it was to find my reptile son lol and to me hes well worth the money spent on it just at the hopes that i may find him.

Oh and i do own a temperature gauge. It says its 85 degrees constantly under the hide. Its a probe. and i have one in all of the tubs for every snake. Two for each. cold and warm side. Including hydrometer for each.

where are how are you placing the probe to get the warm side reading of 85-90?
