Thats about right. You have a good setup. The UTH takes a bit longer to heat up, mine did at least...just set up my viv about a week and a half ago. The glass tank set up sticky is amazing if you havent read it. My ambient temp is about 82 and the substrate on cool side is currently reading 82...so yep, I guess you're right.
