Just numbers wise if you do 3 days in and 3 days rest -- you can hit 5 girls a month -- and from what I'm told the girls don't really need more than once a month to ensure that they have fresh sperm and don't absorb their follicles. If you get some quick locks then they don't need the whole 3 days in and you can squeeze in a few more if the male gets the proper rest.
But as it's been stated it depends on the male, the female, the barometric pressure and the alignment of planets. :D

I'm probably just going to suck it up and get a second male with the bee first time around and then probably 6 breeder normal females in the summer from a reputable seller that are on f/t and proven. Thinking of doing a pinstripe for the second male and I've got a spinner blast project off and running right off the bat. That also splits the breeding load between the two and I have a backup in case one is a lazy breeder.

I killed my 700g male mojave last season by over breeding him. I only bred him to 5 females, but I was pairing him up for 3 days on, 3 days off from Nov. 1 into late January, and he was consistantly locking for 36 hours - 50 hours+ each time. He did successfully knock up 3 for 3 girls that he was only paired with a single time each in early January. I am planning to give my males a lot more time off between pairings this year. 3 days on, 7 days off. I don't think it's the number of females, as much as it is the number and continuety of your pairings and the amount of time you give your males to rest after expending all that energy. Know what your females' bodies are up to, then use your males strategically and they will go a lot farther than just pairing every 3 days and hoping for the best.
