In the past before I bought the hosting box, I have used a few.

I was most impressed by innohosting.com Great service, good prices, reliable servers.

I was just ok with certixhosting, Not so good service, great prices, non-reliable servers.

I was least impressed by GoDaddy, Very bad service, avg prices, horrible servers, I changed servers 3 times and everything was still horrible.

Just to let users know, There is no such thing as unlimited disk space and BW. Its just for flash, It draws users in and say wow I can host any site I want there! Well most websites do not take over 500mb of space!!!! As well dont use up more than 1gb of BW a month!!! These host oversell on there accounts which steal resources from your account (cpu, ram ect....) Just to let everyone know :)

i use 1and1.com and created my own website. its pretty cheap and i would say good for beginners because if i could use it then anyone who can use a USB mouse could.

bigballs, was the software you used called SiteBuilder that comes with the cPanel? The reason why I am asking is to find someone that has used it and their thoughts on it.

yes its called sitebuilder. its very easy to use but people have been telling me that the code could be more organized. its probably not the best program but i would have had no idea how to create my website without it.

If you have a small site whithout any databases, just about any host will work. If your site is a bit more complex I highly reccomend choosing a host that has their servers onsite and has 24 hours phone support.

Just about every hosting service out there is using some kind of "Reseller Account" and don't have the servers onsite. This means some kid can buy a huge amount of server space, break it up into different packages, set up a webpage store front and he is in the hosting business. I would stay clear of these services.
