I have/still owned several other lizards, and my water dragon is the most laid back one of them all. It is very social, never tries to run when being picked up. I never really had to tame it in any way, it just automatically never seen humans as a threat since day one. IMO it has been the easiest, nicest lizard i've had. I would definitly recommend one to anyone.

:) I own a Water Dragon at the moment. He's about 2 and a half years old and a TOTAL sweetheart. I take him out every other say and he'll just chill with me. Just a warning to you though, they're VERY fast. Hah. Whenever my little guy gets nervous he will try to jump off your arm and will run on his back legs away from you until he thinks its safe. D: I've almost lost him a few times as a hatchling that way. But overall, he's great. Tons of personality, fun to watch, totally gorgeous... They are just amazing pets. You should totally get one... or two... or twelve. :D
