Mystery morph is kind of a long story. Abbreviated version is a few years back I bred a ghost male to an exceptional dark female. I just assumed she was a really good looking normal. When her clutch hatched 5 babies stood out from the normal in the clutch and normals in general. They were just like the het and the normal in the pic above.
I thought out of all the morphs out there they looked like a black pastel to me so I held onto most of them and thought I'd breed one of the sons back to mom. I just assumed I'd get a super black pastel but when the eggs hatched from het to het I got 0.2 of the super pictured, 1.2 het and 1.2 normals. So far nobody has seemed to know what they may be which is kind of cool.
Should know more this season because I've got the original mother and 2.2 of the first generation hets (100% het ghost to boot) that will hopefully breed. Think I'll do the 2.2 first generation together to try and make a ghost super and ghost hets. Not sure what I'm going to put to mom, probably another morph to make some combos. And I'll probably hook up one of the sons to a morph female or two.
And as far as the pattern, yeah they pretty much all have that pattern. The hets also all have a dot on their head.
Yup. I didn't produce her, I traded for her.
Thanks for all the comments/welcomes.
