Have you contacted the breeder/seller? Are they registered to ship live animals?

my breeder is the one who informed me that they "lost" it. I think they are qualified. his name is shawn TheVipershouse2 on fauna classifieds. He is just as worried about her as i am. man I hope I hear something soon....

Very sorry to hear about your situation. I would call and hound them until I get an ETA. The person answering the phone isnt necessarily gonna be the person who handles the package.
Unfortunately there is always a possibility of human error when shipping. I have been very fortunate to never have a major problem but there is always the possibilty.
When you become certified you sign alot of papers which eliminates Fed Ex from any liability for live animals. It stinks but there arent many other options(legally)

Seems like I am hearing increased grumblings from customers on this forum and others about a decline of services.
I am also hearing from different vendors how FedEx is radically increasing the cost of their services when the vendor contracts come up for renewal.
It just doesn't seem right....
Trying not to get off topic here, but of course they are going to start charging more, Is a candy bar still 10cents, is a gallon of gas 4 dollars and change, yeah it is.....thats why prices are increasing.
Not that this has anything to do with Fedex's pagage losing dilema, but if they handle 1,000,000 pagages a day (not real numbers) I would expect a few errors.
The fact that its a live animal does make the issue a little more prudent, but if it were my Ipod that got misplaced while being put on a truck, the issue wouldnt be that big of a deal.
I seriously hope that you get your package, stories like this are so sad, especially when its the snake that youve wanted for a while.

OMG you have no Idea! I have been looking for a female ( the perfect female) for months now... do you have a fedex tracking number? If you track it online it should show you where it was when they lost it, and then you can call that terminal directly to find out what happened. And remember that you are the customer, so you don't have to worry about coming off as mean. Plus I wouldn't worry about them doing something to the package just to spite you because like someone above said, the people you talk to will likely never handle the actual packages.

What part of the country/world are you in? Hopefully the temps will still be warm enough that your little one will be ok. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted on what you find out...

I'm not trying to accuse the breeder of misdeeds or dishonesty, but have you actually entered the tracking number in yourself? Are you absolutely 100% positive the package was sent out?
