Nice job getting him back to health! It's hard to believe a "breeder" had let it get that far and was selling him at a table.

He actually had the spider behind the table, we purchased a cinnamon male from him and asked if he had any other breeding size males and he pulled out the spider.. his scale rot wasnt that bad when we picked him up (if it were we wouldnt have gotten him) We could see he had scale rot started and once we started treating him it got worse (i had been told it would get worse before it got better) we just kept him clean and dry had soaked him daily in cloreh and treated the worst areas with neosporin the photos I posted were when it was at its worse.

Here is a photo of it when we first got him (in the car on our way home from Daytona as a matter of fact)

I had contacted the breeder as it got significantly worse and he said he would contact his vet and get back to me... he never did. We got what we paid for (we didnt pay a whole lot for him, he was cycling out his old males for new ones) but were just glad we were able to get him and take care of him.. we dont regret it one bit.

You did a great job! A lot of people wouldn't have put in the time and effort you did to get him back to health. Now you have a fantastic breeder Spider!
