    Pink as in the pink their bellies go as they are entering a shed cycle or pink as in burnt or the beginnings of belly rot? Mouth rot and belly rot or a belly burn would mean there are definitely some husbandry issues to address here.

    Please let us know how things go at the vet.

    I would say most people on this forum use heat pads also known as 'UTHs' for their snakes. Belly heat (or back) is the most effective method for heating a snake and healthiest for digestion. :]

    its not belly burn and i feel where the heat pad is and its no where near hot enough to burn him. i think he may be going into shed i never noticed their bellies turning pink during a shed.

    A pinkish belly is usually the first indication for me that one of ours is going into shed, followed by the typical dulling of their scale color, "blue" eyes, etc.

    yea the vet called and just said the pink if due to shed and to give him meds oraly once a day. that is so hard to do he getts pisted
