Not to go off-topic, but I was really disappointed with this post. I'm expecting the title to be a clever intro for something to do with reptiles, and come to find out it's about an actual storm. :rage:
Now to get back on-topic, in-line generators are great. That's gonna be one of the first improvements I make when I finally get around to buying a house. :gj:
Re: are you ready for a storm?
There were outages in Ohio as well, about 2 million people had no power and 500,000 in the Cincinnati area alone. Our power came back two nights ago but there are people who are supposed to not have power for a week or something.
It was really weird to see a tree pulled out of the ground from all the wind
Re: are you ready for a storm?
A tornado touched down 1/2 mile away from me 4 days ago and ripped the roof off 2 apartment bldgs and uprooted large trees and tumbled some parked cars into a pile but caused no damage here. I've got a 5500 watt Makita generator,1500 Coleman generator and a 500 watt Honda 2 cycle generator for emergencies and a 50' an 8 gauge wire extension cord that I made.
