Well im pretty sure that if you lived in that part of the world and a giant snake ate your only sheep, which would have fed your family, you to would do something like that. at least its not dead, yet.

also, you have to take into consideration, what the circumstances surrounding this event. If the snake is in the middle of a busy intersection and some locals are just trying to move it out of the way, i think that is very brave. I know most people here in the states would just run it over, especially if they drove a big truck. Not to mention police, would have probably shot it and claimed they shot a giant ball python.

On the other hand if that is someones pet, that is shameless.

It is awesome that these snakes can eat such big prey items. It does sadden me that people had to meddle and make the poor guy regurge though.. all that work for nothing.. dumby humans!

Pretty sure if something that big was eating something that big on a road somewhere, a rope around the neck and a regurge is the least of its worries :D

That is so true. "Giant Ball Python" they never get it right. 10 seconds of research is too much effort.

that is a beautiful snake, and a crazy story...

yet it sickens me to know they would do this to an animals...
i dont care if its a snake and alot of people are scared, that is no reason to harm it.

and, the police wouldnt even say giant ball python, they would just say...

a ball python at a sheep today, and was chasing neighborhood children.....

why cant they just leave it alone? Then at least the hippo wouldn't have been wasted. Now they just have a dead hippo on their hands. More of a problem for them and is morally wrong.
