Here's a myth i just heard a few days ago from my housemate when I got my first BP, its such a ridiculous story:

An old lady was keeping a 6 for long snake but it stopped eating. She tried everything to get it to start feeding and even went as far to put the snake in her bed with her at night. Eventualy she takes the snake to the vet after supposedly going months without food. The vet promptley tells the woman she muct get rid of the snake immediatly becuase the snake was fasting to eat her!

Creepy, and honestly a wicked story to tell so long as you educate people afterwards to the fact that a 6 foot snake would explode before it could possibly eat a human.

No she probably means poisonous. I get that all the time..."oh my god are they poisonous!!!!!". I think a lot of people that keep snakes get that question put that way.

I just usually roll my eyes and mutter something like "yes and I leave out all the cleaning products too which actually ARE poisonous, I'm just that kind of parent". People are goofy sometimes LOL.

Well I dunno. I was walking down the street the other day and there was the whole group of Burmese Pythons just hanging around the corner (they really do need to get jobs!) Anyways they hissed at me and took my purse!!!! :O

Well okay it really didn't happen to me. It was this guy at work. Well actually it was this guy's ex-wife. Or maybe it was her cousin or a girl that used to work with her cousin or....

Well I know it happened and ummm....
