    GTP would be my choice oly thing is there tempers arent too great. other than that depending where you live i think green mambas are amazing display snakes also maybe a monocled cobra also as a choice if your legally allowed.

    I second that. Jungle Carpets are the best display snakes. They're a great medium size python with lots of pattern and a funky head shape, they move a lot other than just on the ground cuz they're tree snakes, and when they sleep they'll go for that flat spot on a branch that just happens to be at the center of the cage, hehe.

    Their bright colors combine with a well decorated jungle theme cage make for a stunning display that gets noticed.

    I third it! My IJ's are almost always out and draped on something, they rarely use their hides. They really do make great 'display' snakes and are overall great snakes...not too big, very handleable and very attractive.

    My only real "display snake" right now is my albino king, I just love the colors on him though and he stays active most of the day. About the only time you don't see him is when he's soaking after a big meal :D.

    He's a sweet snake too, never even tried to bite and he's my freakin garbage disposal, I swear he'd eat every hour on the hour if I let him :P

    I love the look of tree pythons, but have heard that they don't play well with others-- like, their keeper!! Lol!! Is this true?
