Re: What if my BP wont use his hide container??
    Cheers to a fellow rescuer!!!

Our situations are almost identical. She's exactly three feet. I've had her almost a month now and she has really put me through the paces with feedings, cleanings, BMs, and a shed.

Hope *ahem* Monty *ahem* has a fast recovery.

    This is Dasia:

gorgeous! yea I have to get him, *altho now i have people tellin me he may be a she* so monty to a vet, and get the tank set up well. since I already know he has an RI i need to get him to one quickly, and in the meantime im keepin the warm side above 90, and the cool side above 85. thats what I was told by the reptile pet store sales reps.. but it is just opinion so anyone know differences in temps for a sick snake?? I dont really care if i am wrong,so please tell me! I just want to fix it and get my snake healthy again!

Thanks. That was right after her shed.

Again, good luck. It sounds like he's in great hands.

so the good news is monty loves his hide, and i just fed him. even tho he has an RI his feedin response is wicked! I opened his feed cage, turned the carryin case with the mouse inside upside down and before i could shake him outta the carryin case monty was outta the feed cage and into the carryin case to get the mouse hahaha so im stoked hes eattin well!

I would suggest keeping a 82C and a 93W for a sick snake. More variability than 80C and 90W and not too hot. Just enough in the parameters.
    Also allows for thermoregulation!
