I agree 100%... That pastel is friggin amazing! Takes my vote for sure... Nice photo compostion, Lighting, and the position of the snake in the egg...along with the amazing BP make for the winner in my eyes.

#2 would have made a real interesting shot but you can't cut off the head of your subject.

Definitly five...by far the best photograph this month. super clear, great subject(gotta love mojos), and just a plain skillful shot

I voted for #8 I am just tired of looking at egg shots I like a veriety and I like #8 because the baby snake looks so cool I really like the pattern then with the adult snake for a comparison of size it just really jumped out at me.
