There's been plenty of them turn green also.
I suggest the thread starter do some research. Try moreliaviridis forum or just google it.
True, a high yellow animal is not a "morph" but it's not a "phase" either. It is more of genetic disposition carried on. Bottom line; you don't buy a chondro hatching and expect it to turn out like some image in your head. If you want something specific and guaranteed, you buy an adult that is at least 3. (biaks' aside, because i've seen them continue to change at 4 years.)

If your looking for a high yellow or lemon...big bucks! I personally havent seen one under $1500 and if u find one let me know I want one bad.
Also want a blue frost ...mite phase.....and a calico..all well over $2000.... but one at a time :D
babies known as neonates - many are born yellow but this is a defense they change which is a beautiful thing to watch and be apart of.
