    I heard we have other fuel resources and that we don't use them because t he oil companies don't want to loose money/.

    Whether it's leftovers or not, it's still HIGHLY ineffecient. If I remember right, you can get about 6x as much fuel out of sugar cane than you can out of corn. There is also another company out there that is working on making bio fuel out of compost heaps very efficiently using bacteria. Last I heard they were pretty close to opening a production plant.
