For my (all '07) ball pythons, I use plastic dog waterbowls, the kind with handgrips cut out of the edges. They're big enough for a small BP to soak in if it wants, and provide a nice tight hideyhole inside. You get two important husbandry tools in one inexpensive package!

I've seen some which have a water bowl on one side, with a rock formation on the other and a cave entrance under the rock. Prettier, but pricier as well.

4 oz glass ramikin (sp). It's all my little girl needs; too heavy for her to tip over and it was cheap <$2.

For babies I use 8oz deli cups. For adults I use 16oz deli cups inside 4" PVC couplers from Home Depot. Works well and in my opinion is more sanitary.

I use white ceramic ramekins (kitchen grade) that I get from a local restaurant supply company.

They have fantastic prices, they are a local company with a great reputation in the restaurant industry here and they are located less than 2 miles from our home. :)
