i recently purchased a natures spirit incubator its great i haven't used it yet but it keeps temps and humidity real stable and for a lil bit extra they throw in a helix dbs-1000.

great customer service and great feedback

If you are in a hurry for flexwatt, Reptile Basics is a very fast shipper. I would call Rich and tell him you need it fast. He'll probably even put the connectors on for you. You won't be disappointed. Rich runs a first class business.

Heck girl if I can slap an incubator together in a day, ANYONE can LOL. We had a 100% hatch rate on three clutches this year using an old mini freezer. We just got a small glass fronted cooler. Took all of 20 minutes to turn it into a decent incubator. You'll do just fine. Seriously I am completely inept at anything mechanical/electrical/fix-it/build-it stuff. If I can make an incubator - a drunken monkey with the attention span of an ant can! LOL

We used a vermiculite/perlite mix. Worked like a dream for us. :)

go to justins web site he is the owner of O.C.D. Ontario Constrictor Designs,, here is the link to making you very own incubator

I used it my first clutch and amazing now i have a fridge incubator lol but it holds heat and humidity very well and if you open to check on the eggs it will return the heat very quick and safe... try it out it wont cost too much and is fast to build...
