    well ive spoken to a couple breeders about this snake and it looks like i may have misjudged it. This little guy is quite a bit different from any spot nose ive hatched but after a few conversations with some people with better experience with this mutation he may just be a very weird spot nose:tears: never the less i jumped the gun on this one and just wanted to clear the air a bit. ill give it another shot next season as there were only 2 surviving eggs in this clutch.

    Is there a chance he is a preemie? He kinda has that look to him and I've heard that some preemies will display some oddities in color and pattern.

    I am sorry Justin I don't see any Lesser in that snake. I envision that the Lesser Spotnose is going to look a little different then that.

    I dont know what to think any more this guy is so different from the other spots i hatched.There is always next year to give it another shot here are some other spots ive hatched and here is an earlier pic of the baby
