    I have been using this substrate for 5-6 years and it works great as long as it doesnt get soaked.
    I rarely give them water in those enclosures, it needs to be taken out if wet(spot cleaned). They either get soaked in a tub or spend time their outside enclosures where they get lots of water.

    Yeah, I never gave mine water bowls either. They really enjoyed their baths!
