Re: Leave eggs with mother or incubate seperately?
I use an incubator too. The females start eating sooner. They don't have the 60 days added on to the time they are not eating. Also I keep my snakes on unprinted packing paper. I'm not sure how I would get the humidity up high enough. I don't think it would work that well for me. So Its just easier for me to use and incubator.

A female that is properly sized when bred should have no problems incubating her eggs -- yes she looks like hell after the eggs are laid -- because she is supposed to -- they are designed to stretch to fit the eggs inside of them as well as be able to cover them all up when they come out -- much easier to do if they aren't all roundish. :D
Taking them is easy unwrap carefully! :gj:
That's really interesting, can you tell us how you do it just leaving the mother with the eggs? Temp/humidity etc?
Re: Leave eggs with mother or incubate seperately?
I have tried both and good results with both as well, but I tend to remove the eggs these days as I prefer to get the female healthy and eating again ASAP.

Lots of the Carpet guys use maternal incubation. They seem to do real well.
